Millage Levies on the Clawson City Council Agenda

If you're seeking knowledge on happenings in the Clawson, you won't want to miss the city council meeting at 7:30 Tuesday night.

• Consideration of approving the proposed 2013-2014 City Department Fee Schedules.
• Public hearing: Solicitation of public comments on the proposed general operating millage rate of 10.7602 for the fiscal year July 1, 2013 – June 30, 2014. 
• Public hearing: Solicitation of public comments on the proposed rubbish collection and disposal millage rate of 2.1518 for the fiscal year of July 1, 2013 – June 30, 2014.
• Public hearing: Solicitation of public comments on the July 1, 2013 – June 30, 2014 combined city budgets.
• Public hearing: Solicitation of public comments on the July 1, 2013 – June 30, 2018 Capital Improvement Program.
• Public hearing: Solicitation of public comments on levying 4.2398 mills of additional general operating millage for the fiscal year of July 1, 2013 – June 30, 2014.
• Public hearing: Solicitation of public comments on levying 1.9734 mills on both real and personal property throughout the Clawson Downtown Development Authority District for the fiscal year of July 1, 2013 – June 30, 2014.
• Public hearing: Solicitation of public comments on levying 1.3240 mills for the Blair Memorial Library for the fiscal year of July 1, 2013 – June 30, 2014.
• Consideration of increasing the monthly rental rates for the Renshaw Senior Apartments, effective July 1, 2013.
• Consideration of increasing the water consumption rate to $21.00 per 1,000 cubic feet, maintaining the sewer consumption rate at $59.50 per 1,000 cubic feet, and decreasing the sewer debt fixed charge to $10.95 and maintaining the billing charge of $15.00 per quarter for water and $6.75 for sewer effective July 1, 2013.
