Jollibee Sets Opening Date For First Metro Detroit Location

The first 100 customers who spend $20 or more on opening day will get free Chickenjoy each month for a year, from Feb. 2024 to Jan. 2025.

STERLING HEIGHTS, MI β€” Jollibee, a popular Filipino fast food restaurant, is opening its first Michigan location in Sterling Heights this month, according to a Facebook post.

The chain's new location will open on Jan. 12 at 44945 Woodridge Dr. in Sterling Heights, just off Hall Road in front of Lakeside Mall, according to the post.

The restaurant is known for their hand-breaded fried poultry called "chickenjoy," as well as peach and mango pies and the Filipino noodle dish palabok.

The restaurant's sweet-style Jolly Spaghetti, which is topped with ham, ground meat and Palabok Fiesta, is also a fan favorite.

In addition, the first 100 customers who spend $20 or more on opening day will get free Chickenjoy each month for a year, from Feb. 2024 to Jan. 2025, according to the post.

On its day 2 opening the first 100 customers who spend $20 or more will receive a free Jollibee Beanie. And on the third day, the first 100 customers who spend $20 or more will receive a free Jollibee tote bag, according to the post.
