Liquor License Regulations Update on the Clawson City Council Agenda

An introduction and first reading of an ordinance amendment will be discussed tonight.

If you're seeking knowledge on happenings in the Clawson, you won't want to miss the city council meeting at 7:30 Tuesday night.

  • Recognition of service awards to selected city employees  
  • Presentation on an update from the Clawson Skatepark Committee.
  • Consideration of the introduction and 1st reading of an Ordinance to amend Chapter 34, Division 23. City Center District, to include a new sliding scale rule for wall sign size for Downtown Businesses, clarify regulations for window signage, allow for projecting signs outside total permitted signage, regulate neon signs and update liquor license regulations.
  • Consideration of approving the amendments to the 2012-2013 fiscal year budget.
  • Consideration of a resolution proclaiming July 2013 as Parks and Recreation Month in the City of Clawson.
  • Consideration of the closure of South Main Street on Saturday, July 6, 2013 for the Downtown Development Authority’s 6th Annual Cinema in the Street event.
