Police Blotter: Police Seek Person Who Entered Cars, Stole Items
Residents on Darbee Court report that someone entered their cars and went through glove boxes, making off with a car charger and GPS unit.

are searching for the person(s) responsible for entering at least six cars on the 400 and 500 blocks of Darbee Court between the night of May 21 and Sunday morning. Reports say a GPS unit and a car charger were stolen.
- A woman who lives on the 400 block of Darbee told police that she left her car unlocked in her driveway at about 8:30 p.m. May 21, and at 10 a.m. Sunday, she discovered the side door of her Chevrolet Cruise was open. A police report said someone went through the woman's glove box and that a USB phone charger, valued at $25, was missing from the vehicle. Someone also entered the car parked behind the woman's vehicle, the report said. The woman said the the glove box in that car was open and that a garage door opener and papers were lying on the seat, but nothing was missing, the report said.
- Another resident on the 400 block of Darbee told police he left his red Oldsmobile van unlocked in his driveway at about 10:15 p.m. May 21, and at 8:30 a.m. Sunday, he returned to find his GPS unit was missing. The victim said someone went through his glove box but that the only thing stolen was a GPS, valued at $50, the police report said. According to the report, another vehicle in this man's driveway was entered that night but that nothing was missing. There was no damage to either car.Â
- A woman who lives on the 500 block of Darbee told police someone entered her unlocked green Honda Accord the night of May 21 and stole an empty wallet. The wallet was later discovered in a neighbor's Oldsmobile van that someone had entered, the report said. There was no damage to the woman's car.
- A police report said another resident on the 400 block of Darbee discovered Sunday morning that someone had entered his unlocked Dodge minivan and had gone through the glove box. All of the glove box contents were dumped on the floor, but nothing was missing, the report said.
Police said there was no evidence, and there are no suspects in the string of incidents on Darbee Court.
License plate stolen
A resident on the 300 block of Gladwin Avenue reported that someone stole a license plate off his trailer sometime between September 2010 and May 20. The resident said he pulled his trailer out from the side of his house for the first time since September and discovered the license plate was missing. The plate (A908955) was attached to the rear gate of his R & R trailer.
