3 Clinton Twp. Restaurant Employees Test Positive For Coronavirus
As a result of the employees testing positive for the coronavirus, the restaurant has been closed.
CLINTON TWP., MI β Three employees from the Red Robin restaurant at 15780 Hall Road in Clinton Township recently tested positive for the coronavirus, according to Macomb County health officials.
The restaurant was closed on June 22 for deep cleaning and disinfecting, officials said. Employees who may have been exposed are required to produce a negative test for the coronavirus before they return to work. All employees are being screened daily for coronavirus symptoms as they arrive for work, according to a news release.
"This situation provides an opportunity to remind business owners that they should call their local health department when they learn that an employee or customer has tested positive for COVID-19," said William Ridella, Director and Health Officer of the Macomb County Health Department. "This information will enhance our COVID-19 investigations and allow us to inform the public of any potential exposures."

Health officials said anyone who was at the Red Robin in Clinton Township on any day between June 18-22 should self-monitor for signs and symptoms of the coronavirus. People with the virus have reported a wide range of symptoms, ranging from mild to severe and may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. People with these symptoms may have the coronavirus:

- Fever or chills
- Cough
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Fatigue
- Muscle or body aches
- Headache
- New loss of taste or smell
- Sore throat
- Congestion or runny nose
- Nausea or vomiting
- Diarrhea
As of Wednesday, more than 64,000 people had tested positive for the coronavirus in Michigan.
