Alex and Ani to Bring 'Positive Energy' Accessories to Partridge Creek Customers
The new store – Michigan's first – is slated to open in March 2013 at The Mall at Partridge Creek.

The local jewelry market is about to get an energy boost.
Known for its bangle bracelets, necklaces, earrings and rings, accessory store Alex and Ani will open its first Michigan location in The Mall at Partridge Creek in early 2013.
"We are constantly looking to target culturally rich communities and cities that celebrate their own Main Street. Partridge Creek is a great place for Alex and Ani to spread messages of positive energy that speak to tight knit communities in America," said Alexandra Zaso, Alex and Ani public relations coordinator.

Many of the company's products are made with re-used or recycled materials and all are manufactured in the U.S.
The company's Charity by Design campaign works specifically with charitable organizations to create unique designs that, when sold, benefit the charity with a portion of the proceeds.
"We believe profoundly that people everywhere are anxious to participate in creating change and empowering those who so clearly need assistance," according to the Alex and Ani website. "By allowing consumers to enter the charitable world through their purchases, we believe a new generation of philanthropists will emerge."
Although the new store isn't expected to open in Partridge Creek until March 2013, Zaso said those looking to apply for positions with the company should visit the Alex and Ani careers page at www.alexandani.com/careers.
