Chippewa Valley High School Students Unite in Support of Sandy Hook

Students at the high school have dedicated a portion of their lunch periods to the creation of a banner in honor of the victims and families affected by the school shooting in Newtorn, CT, last week.

Written in shades of pink, purple and green, hundreds of messages and signatures have created a link this week between the community of Newtown, CT, and the student body of Chippewa Valley High School.

In a show of support for the victims and families of the Sandy Hook Elementary school shooting, which took the lives of six adults and 20 children Dec. 14, CVHS students have dedicated a portion of their lunch periods to the completion of a banner in their honor.

Produced by Kelly Schroeder, a teacher in the school's Graphics Department, the banner reads, "Forever in Our Hearts - Sandy Hook Elementary."
