Clinton Township's 2012 Winter Taxes Are Due

Taxes are payable Dec. 1 through Feb. 28, 2013 without penalty.

Snow may not be a sure thing for the first week in December but your winter tax bill certainly is.

Look for your winter tax bill in the mail this week. If you don't receive it, you'll want to call the Treasurer’s Office at 586-286-9313.

As of March 1, all unpaid taxes are considered delinquent and forwarded to the Macomb County Treasurer for payment. At this stage additional penalties are added by the county.

To pay your taxes in person, bring your entire tax bill to the Treasurer's Office, 40700 Romeo Plank Rd., Clinton Township, MI 48038, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

Taxes can be paid with cash or check at the Treasurer's Office.

A secure drop box, where payments can be deposited 24 hours a day, is located at the main doors of the Civic Center Building. Packages must be clearly labeled ATTN: Treasurer. Payments received after 4:30 p.m. will be credited for the next business day.

Taxes can also be paid online with a debit or credit card. Convenience fees are applied to all payments except fund transfers from a checking or savings account.

Payments can be made by phone by calling 877-490-5123 or by mail to 40700 Romeo Plank Road, Clinton Township, MI 48038. Be sure to write your Parcel ID number on your tax payment check. 

Any Comerica Bank branch in Macomb County will also accept tax payments. Residents must present their entire bill and make checks payable to "Clinton Township Treasurer." Partial payments are not accepted by the bank.
