It's inevitable that in the hustle and bustle of Thanksgiving shopping, some ingredient is forgotten. While the family may not notice the absence of carrots from the salad, they will definitely revolt against a lack of whipped cream on the pumpkin pie.

Luckily, several stores in Clinton Township are open Thanksgiving Day for a last-minute grocery run.

Kroger

• All Kroger stores are open from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thanksgiving Day.
• Pharmacies are open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thanksgiving Day. 

Randazzo Fresh Market

• Open 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thanksgiving Day

Walgreens

• Stores are open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thanksgiving Day. 

CVS

• Stores will be open during regular hours Thanksgiving Day. Find the store closest to you.

Rite Aid

• Stores are open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thanksgiving Day.

Meijer

• Locations in Clinton Township, Utica and Chesterfield Township are open 24 hours, including Thanksgiving Day.

Walmart

• Stores in Clinton, Chesterfield and Shelby townships are open 24 hours.
