Gunshot To The Face Kills Clinton Township Man

Clinton Township Police are investigating the shooting and are describing the case as an "apparent" murder.

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, MI — Police are investigating the “apparent” murder of a 22-year-old Clinton Township man. He was discovered at about 8 a.m. Tuesday by a friend, Clinton Township Capt. Richard Maierle said.

“The friend was with him last night until about 10 p.m. and they were going back to Detroit this morning,” Maierle said.

Maierle said the Clinton Township man suffered a gunshot wound to the face. An autopsy will likely be performed on Wednesday, he added.

Police have no suspects at this point and an investigation is ongoing. The man was found in a ground level apartment at the Clinton Township Housing Commission complex on Village Road.
