Homeless Man Attacked In Macomb County: Police

Police say the found the known homeless man in the street with two swollen eyes and a bloody nose.

MT. CLEMENS, MI β€” Police are investigating after a man was brutally attacked and found laying in the street, Macomb County Sheriff’s Office said Thursday.

On Tuesday, authorities were dispatched to Main Street in Mount Clemens for a 45-year-old man who had been assaulted. Responding officers recognized the man as a known homeless person in the area.

He had two swollen eyes and a bloody nose when police found him. He’s currently in the hospital in critical condition, police said.

Police say there are several witnesses and surveillance video and a suspect has been identified. The suspect has not yet been identified by police, however.
