L’Anse Creuse Schools Plan Art Show

From L'ane Creuse Public Schools: L’Anse Creuse Public Schools will host the first annual K-12 District-Wide Art Show April 23 through April 29 at the Harry L. Wheeler Community Center and Administrative Offices. Several pieces of art from all seventeen schools will be displayed in the Wheeler Center, showcasing the significant talent throughout the district at all levels. The pieces will be judged by a panel of retired art teachers and awards will be given in the following categories:

- High School Best in Show 2D
- High School Best in Show 3D
- Middle School Best in Show 2D
- Middle School Best in Show 3D
- Honorable Mention - Secondary (5 total)
- Best in Show (Grades 3-5)
- Best in Show (Grades K-2)
- Honorable Mention – Elementary (5 total)

An opening reception will be held on April 23 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. with an award presentation at 1:30 p.m. Viewing hours April 24 through April 28 are from 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. and April 29 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. The Harry L.
