Man Sentenced In Crash That Killed His Father And Another Driver
The Albanian native is facing deportation after his sentence.

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, MI β The driver of a horrific car crash which claimed the lives of his father and another man was sentenced yesterday in Macomb County Circuit Court to 28 months in prison.
21-year-old Clinton Township resident Valon Gjykaj was behind the wheel driving north on Groesbeck Highway in Fraser on Feb. 6 when his car traveled into the opposite lane and crashed into a vehicle driven by Donald Schulte, 83. Schulte and Gjykaj's father, Pashk Gjykaj, 54, both later died from their injuries.
Both families made passionate pleas during sentencing while Macomb Daily reports that Judge Joseph Toia told the court, "It's the most difficult sentencing I've had to deal with."
