Motorcycle Crash Kills Grand Blanc Man

The crash occurred Sunday evening in Macomb County when the Grand Blanc Man Driving a Yamaha was hit by a vehicle.

MACOMB COUNTY, MI — A 21-year-old Grand Blanc man was killed Sunday evening after his motorcycle was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Crocker Boulevard and Reimold Street, according to a Macomb County Sheriff’s Office report.

Evan Gardner’s Yamaha motorcycle was struck by a 2009 Chevy Traverse turning left from Reimold onto Crocker at about 5:50 p.m. Deputies said Gardner died at the scene.

The Traverse was driven by a 16-year-old girl from Harrison Township, according to police reports. She and her two passengers were uninjured and released at the scene.

The Macomb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash. Charges against the Harrison Township teen, if any, would be filed at the end of the investigation.
