New Year's Holiday Delays Clinton Township Trash Collection

There will be no rubbish collection or recycling on Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013, pushing pick-up back one day for the remainder of the week.

Nearly all Clinton Township residents will see their trash collection delayed a day due to the New Year's holiday.

There will be no rubbish collection or recycling on New Year's Day, Tuesday, Jan. 1. Because of this, all normally scheduled pickups from Tuesday through Friday will be delayed by one day.

  • If your normal pickup is Tuesday, you will be picked up on Wednesday.
  • If your normal pickup is Wednesday, you will be picked up on Thursday.
  • If your normal pickup is Thursday, you will be picked up on Friday.
  • If your normal pickup is Friday, you will be picked up on Saturday.

Residents can put their Christmas trees at the curb. The Department of Public Works and township trash contractor work together to remove the trees.
