Pedestrian Critical Injured in Crash
A Macomb County couple were uninjured in the crash, which occurred on 21 Mile Road.

MACOMB COUNTY, MI. β A 58-year-old Macomb Township man is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle on 21 Mile Road Thursday night, according to the Macomb County Sheriffβs Office. The man was crossing 21 Mile just east of Garfield Road when he was hit at about 9 p.m. by a GMC Sierra driven by a Shelby Township man, report said.
The vehicle was heading westbound on 21 Mile Road at the time of the accident. The 56-year-old Shelby Township man and his wife were uninjured, police reports said. They were released at the scene.
The Macomb County Sheriffβs office is investigating the accident. Anyone with information is asked to contact Det. Wiley at (586) 307-8230.
