Police Arrest 4 Suspects in Rash of Home Break-ins Across Clinton Township

Clinton Township police have arrested four individuals who detectives believe were involved in four different series of home invasions across the township.
Police are not releasing the suspects' names, but Det. Capt. Richard Maierle said evidence suggests each suspect may have committed between five and 10 home invasions in the areas of 15 Mile and Gratiot, 14 Mile and Beaconsfield, and Garfield and Moravian in recent weeks.Â
Maierle said he believes the suspects acted independently of one another.

Police have also arrested a fifth individual they believe committed at least eight home break-ins in the area of 14 Mile and Nicke Street during the month of October.
Kenneth Ray Wood, 33 of Clinton Township, was arraigned Oct. 31 in 41B District Court on three counts of breaking and entering, two counts of home invasion in the second degree, one count of larceny greater than $200, one count of weapons possession by a felon and one count of receiving and concealing a firearm, according to court records.
