Police Arrest Two, ID Three in October Check 'n Go Armed Robbery in Clinton Township

Clinton Township police have arrested two suspects and identified a third in an armed robbery that took place on Oct. 18 at the Check 'n Go at 37521 Harper.
Mount Clemens resident Cameron Cordale McCoy was arraigned Nov. 14 in 41B District Court in Clinton Township on a charge of armed robbery. His bond was set at $50,000 cash or surety, according to court records.
Police are still investigating the second suspect's role in the robbery, while a third suspect has been identified but not arrested, Maierle said.

A Check 'n Go employee told police she was working alone Oct. 18 when a man entered the store and asked if he could withdraw money against a Visa card. When she replied no, the man pulled out a gun, pointed it at her and demanded money, according to the police report.

The suspect forced the clerk to the ground behind the counter and stole $3,076 in cash before leaving with another man the clerk saw waiting outside the front door, according to the police report.
