Veterans Day 2016: Clinton Township Golden Corral Offers Free Meals
The Golden Corral is offering free meals as part of a special celebration for veterans.
CLINTON TOWNSHIP, MI — The Golden Corral is providing free meals to veterans on Monday, Nov. 14 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. as part of their celebration honoring our service men and women. Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Chapter 129 is partnering with The Golden Corral as the host DAV Chapter and Unit.
At the special event, the American Legion Post #4 Honor Guard will conduct the playing of taps and 21-gun salute at approximately 5:00 p.m. Chippewa Valley High School students will also be at the Golden Corral to assist veterans with trays at dinner. Please let a DAV volunteer know if you need special accommodations. Disabled American Veterans Chapter 129 Commander Mark Williams will also present a plaque to the restaurant owner, Mr. Lee, in appreciation for the Golden Corral's commitment to and generous support of veterans.
