1 Arrested After Online Threat Against Dearborn Heights School: Police

DEARBORN HEIGHTS, MI — One person was arrested Monday in connection with a threat against a Dearborn Heights school, according to police.

The incident happened at 1:30 p.m. when officers learned about "threatening statements" against a school on social media, according to police.

Officers quickly responded and were able to arrest a person of interest. No weapons were found, according to police.

Investigators believe the threat was an isolated incident and there is no further threat against any other schools in the district.

Police did not identify the person or name the school that was targeted.

Police plan to turn over their investigation to the prosecutor's office for potetnial charges.
