5 Things To Do This Weekend In Dearborn

1. #FASHION. The American Style and Spirit exhibit at the Henry Ford Museum (20900 Oakwood Boulevard, Dearborn) will take you through 130 years of style. Check out the collection starting Nov. 5 from 9:30 a.m.- 5 p.m. daily.
2. Book lovers, the Arab American National Museum (13624 Michigan Ave., Dearborn) is hosting a book reading and signing on Nov. 5 at 2 p.m. with Dr. Kathleen Kalil, author of "Awakening the Sleeping Tiger Within."

3. It’s never too early to learn how to be handy. The Dearborn Home Depot (5951 Mercury Drive, Dearborn) is offering a free kids’ workshop on Saturday, Nov. 5 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Click here to register. This week’s project: Building a Veteran’s Day Toy Helicopter. To the chopper!
4. Want a little culture? Head to the Detroit Institute of Arts (5200 Woodward Ave., Detroit) for the "Detroit After Dark" exhibit.

5. Salute Michigan service men and women at Detroit Veterans Day Parade on Sunday, Nov. 6. The parade starts at MLK High School at noon and ends at Hart Plaza.
