7-Eleven Armed Robbery Suspect Is An 18-Year-Old Taylor Man
The Dearborn police received an outpouring of tips from the public.

DEARBORN, MI — Dearborn police have identified the suspect in last week's brazen 7-Eleven armed robbery as 18-year-old Terry Dwayne Davis of Taylor, according to a news release.
The hold-up happened on Nov. 14 at approximately 1:30 a.m. at the 7-Eleven in the area of Telegraph and Oxford. The suspect entered 7-Eleven and waited for patrons to leave. When the store was empty, he pointed a handgun at the clerk and demanded money before fleeing on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. Dearborn police immediately released photos of the suspect, captured by the store's surveillance camera, and a flurry of tips flooded in. Davis has since been linked to a string of similar incidents in nearby communities.
Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad said in a statement “We are grateful that citizens took the initiative to contact the police upon recognizing the suspect from photographs circulated by the media. The information provided by our citizens allowed us to quickly identify and apprehend the suspect. The police and community partnership is the most important element in maintaining a safe community and we continue to encourage the public to notify the police when they observe suspicious activity.”
