Armed Robbery At A Dearborn 7-11. Gunman on the loose.

A gunman struck a Dearborn 7-11. Dearborn police believe the gunman is involved in a string of other armed robberies.

DEARBORN, MI — A Dearborn 7-11 was the scene of an armed robbery and Dearborn police are asking for the public's help identifying the gunman.

The hold-up happened on Nov. 14 at approximately 1:30 a.m. at the 7-11 in the area of Telegraph and Oxford, according to a news release. The suspect entered 7-11 and waited for patrons to leave. When the store was empty, he pointed a handgun at the clerk and demanded money. The gunman fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The investigation has revealed that this suspect may be involved in at least three other armed robberies in neighboring communities. The suspect is a male described as approximately 25-30-years-old with a “scraggly sculpted beard” and was wearing a black flat brimmed baseball hat with a white Chicago Bulls emblem on front, a black hooded sweatshirt, and black sweatpants.

Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad said in a statement, “The Dearborn Police Department will aggressively investigate this crime and utilize all available resources to bring this investigation to a conclusion. We are urging the public to come forward and provide information to help identify the suspect involved in this crime.
