Construction Alert: Southfield Freeway Work Continues

Construction on I-94 and M-39 will affect Dearborn-area drivers this week according to the Michigan Department of Transportation.

Northbound and southbound M-39 (Southfield Freeway) will be reduced to a single lane under I-94 from 4 a.m.–9 p.m. Saturday for ongoing bridge work.

On Interstate I-94, there will be alternating single and double lane closures between I-96 and Michigan Avenue from 9 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday for ongoing bridge work.

The ongoing ramp closure from Southfield Freeway onto Van Born will remain in place until late October, and detours will be posted.
