Construction Forces Lane Closure on Southfield Freeway
The left lane on the southbound Southfield Freeway will be closed between Oakwood and I-94 from Wednesday until Oct. 24.
If you travel on the Southfield Freeway near Dearborn, be aware: construction work is ramping up Wednesday morning.
Beginning Wednesday at 5 a.m., the southbound left lane of the Southfield Freeway (M-39) will be closed from Oakwood Boulevard to Interstate 94 for bridge construction, according to Dearborn police. The closure will last until Wednesday, Oct. 24, at 9 p.m.
In addition, the two southbound left lanes of the Southfield Freeway from Oakwood to I-94 will be closed from Saturday, Oct. 20, at 5 a.m. through Sunday, Oct. 21, at 9 p.m.
