Dearborn City Clerk Offers Extra Hours For Absentee Voters
The Dearborn City Clerk's Office will open up Saturday to better accommodate voters, who don't need a reason to vote absentee this election.
DEARBORN, MI — Local elections are Nov. 5 in Dearborn where residents will vote on a Dearborn Public Schools bond proposal. Thanks to no-reason absentee voting now in Michigan, registered voters can cast their ballots absentee until 4 p.m. Monday, Nov. 4.
The City Clerk’s Office will offer extra hours by opening on Saturday, Nov. 2 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. for those wanting to register to vote or to request absent voter ballots.

The clerk’s office is located inside the Dearborn Administrative Center, 16901 Michigan Ave.
To request an absent voter ballot, voters must submit an application in writing to the Dearborn City Clerk’s Office. An application can be obtained from the clerk’s office or on the city’s website.

Absent voter ballots must be completed and returned to the Dearborn City Clerk’s Office by 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5. For more information, contact the Clerk’s Office at 313-943-2010.
