
DEARBORN, MI — At this point, nearly every person in the galaxy is aware that Donald Trump was elected President. But what about the rest of the election results in your town? Here are a couple Dearborn election highlights:
1. The people of Wayne county were for the Regional Transit Authority millage, which would have paved the way for mass transit. 359,244 votes for "yes" and 322,447 "no" votes.
2. Schools are a priority in Wayne county. The Wayne County RESA Proposal passed with 56% of the vote and 46% of voters against it. The proposal will add 2 mills for 6 years to create an enhancement millage that will benefit every school district in Wayne County.

3. There's a new district judge, Gene Hunt. Hunt defeated Susan Dabaja in a hair-thin race.
