Dearborn Man Kidnaps 7-Year-Old Daughter, Threatens Mother: Reports

DEARBORN, MI — A Dearborn man is wanted after taking his 7-year-old daughter from her Pennsylvania home on Sunday, according to reports.

Jafar Almaarej, 39, is wanted on additional charges of interfering with the custody of children and terroristic threats, according to the Millcreek Police Department.

Police said Almaarej took his 7-year-old daughter from her mother's home in Pennsylvania and threatened the mother.

Almaarej told the mom that if she called police, investigators would have to "search for their bones," according to a WDIV report.

Almaarej was last seen driving a black 4-door Jeep Wrangler, with Michigan license plate No. 050G994. Police believe Almaarej might have swapped the license plate on the Jeep.

Police told WWJ that investigators believe Almaarej has returned to Michigan.

Police asked anyone with information or who has seen the Jeep to call 911 or a local police department.
