Carhartt says it looks to maintain a safe work environment by keeping it's COVID-19 Vaccine mandate.
DEARBORN, MI — Carhartt announced it will keep its vaccine mandate in place despite the Supreme Court's decision throw out a federal COVID-19 vaccine mandate, according to multiple reports.
The Dearborn headquartered clothing store's CEO Mark Valade reiterated the businesses desire to maintain a safe workplace in a company email.
"We put workplace safety at the very top of our priority list and the Supreme Court’s recent ruling doesn’t impact that core value," Valade wrote Friday, according to a copy of the email published to social media. "We, and the medical community, continue to believe vaccines are necessary to ensure a safe working environment for every associate and even perhaps their households."
