The Dearborn City Council will meet on Tuesday, July 23 at 7:30 p.m. in the council chambers. Items on the agenda include an ordinance amendment for commercial fireworks, and a contract with Artspace for the purchase of the current city hall. The meeting is open to the public.

4. Honor Dearborn's Korean War veterans
The Dearborn Allied War Veterans Council will commemorate the 60th anniversary of the armistice that ended the Korean War at 6 p.m. July 26 in the auditorium of the Henry Ford Centennial Library, 16301 Michigan Ave. The public is invited to attend the program.
5. Take in a free concert in the park
The West Dearborn Downtown Development Authority's "Friday Nites in the Park" series continues on Friday with Big Will and the 360 Degrees Band. The concert starts at 6:30 p.m. in the Bryant Library's Muirhead Plaza.
