Gene Hunt Elected Dearborn District Judge

DEARBORN, MI — The poll numbers are in, and the city of Dearborn has a new district judge. The results? Attorney Gene Hunt defeated Dearborn City Council President Susan Dabaja in a razor thin victory. Hunt captured 50% of the votes, while Dabaja snagged 49% of votes.

Hunt is a Dearborn native and has handled over 10,000 cases in his 31 years as an attorney, according to his website. Hunt will replace retiring Judge William Hultgren later this year.
