Got An Overdue Library Book? The Dearborn Public Library Is Offering Amnesty.

You can wipe your overdue slate clean by returning your long lost overdue book to the library.

DEARBORN, MI — If you've been sweating over an overdue library book racking up charges, sweat no more! The Dearborn Public Library is graciously offering a fines amnesty program starting Nov. 28 through Dec. 14. The library will award you partial or total amnesty in return for your long lost overdue library book. Kaching!

The amnesty move is part of the 50th anniversary celebration of the groundbreaking of the Henry Ford Centennial Library. And the Dearborn Public Library has even more celebration moves up its sleeve! On Dec. 14 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., the Dearborn Public Library invites the community to the Henry Ford Centennial Library at 16301 Michigan Ave. for library tours, online resource demonstrations, a photo exhibit and other surprises. See you in the stacks!
