Gun-Wielding Masked Men Walk Into Dearborn Police Station To File A Complaint: Video
"I will put a round in you, sir," a Dearborn officer is heard yelling on the tape at the two armed men.

DEARBORN, MI — Two men clad in masks and armed with rifles videotaped themselves marching into a Dearborn police station to file a complaint during the afternoon of Feb. 5.
The 3-minute, 25-second video is titled "Open Carry Dearborn Police Station," and begins outside the station. A masked man, later identified as a 24-year-old Leonard resident, looks into the camera and routinely explains he and his friend, identified as a 40-year-old Jackson resident, are going to walk into the police station to file a complaint because "We were illegally pulled over an hour ago. Isn't that right, Brandon?"
To which a second man, his face covered in a scarf, agrees saying "100 percent."

The video shows the men making their way into the police station, and within seconds they're met by screaming officers ordering them to drop their weapons. "Dude, put that on the ground," a Dearborn officer is heard yelling on the tape. When the men refuse, an officer hollers, "I will put a round in you, sir."
Back-and-forth shouting ensues and the tape goes black. At one point, an officer screams, "What's the matter with you?" To which a masked man retorts, "What's the matter with you?" The masked man states, "I came here to file a complaint." An officer fires back, "You can file your complaint in a minute. Step back!"

There is continued yelling between police and the masked men until the video abruptly ends. Dearborn police say the men were taken into custody without incident and posted $1,500 bond pending future court appearances, according to a press release. Officers seized an arsenal of weapons and ammunition: the loaded AP-14 firearm, rifle magazine containing 47 7.62 rounds, a loaded Glock 19 handgun with four additional magazines containing 66 rounds, body armor and ballistic vests, masks, gun belt, several pieces of camera equipment, an AR-15 rifle, and a AK-47-style rifle, according to a press release.
Lt. Gary Mann of the Dearborn police told Patch the two men came to the station incensed about an incident from earlier in the day. Police had received a report of two men in a vehicle wearing masks and tactical vests in a shopping district in the area of Ford and Southfield.
"Officers found them nearby and stopped them. Most people would think that if you're acting suspicious with a mask on then police have due diligence to investigate but not these individuals," Mann told Patch. "They were arrested for several misdemeanor charges, and we're still looking into some other charges and looking up other laws."
In a statement, Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad said: “I find this behavior totally unacceptable and irresponsible. This is not a 2nd Amendment issue for me. We had members of the public in our lobby that fled in fear for their safety as these men entered our building. I want to express my appreciation for the many calls of support we’ve received from the community including a call from the president of Michigan Open Carry, Inc. who made it clear that he and his organization stand with law enforcement and unequivocally condemn the actions that took place in our lobby this past Sunday.”
