Hundreds Without Power in Dearborn After Storm

More than 500 DTE Customers throughout the city are in the dark.


Approximately 565 Dearborn residents are without power this morning after a high-speed windstorm blew through the city on Sunday.

Power will likely be restored throughout the city by 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday, according to DTE Energy's power outage map.

The majority of the outages occurred on the east side of the city, with 425 DTE customers affected. There are 140 customers without power on the west side of the city, the outage map shows.

DTE encourages customers to report downed power lines and power outages online at dteenergy.com, or by using the DTE Energy Outage Center app on their iPhone or Android phone, or by calling 800-477-4747.
