Man Accused of Killing Cousin After Game Of Pool
The victim was a 26-year-old Dearborn Heights man.

WAYNE COUNTY, MI — A Ypsilanti man stands accused of murdering his cousin after a game of pool, according to a press release.
On Dec. 20, Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy charged 28-year-old Rashad M. Bell in connection with the murder of his cousin, 26-year-old Joseph Franklin of Dearborn Heights.
It is alleged that Bell got into a physical altercation with Franklin while playing a game of pool at a club in the 3700 block of Inkster Rd. on Dec. 17 at 12:58 a.m.

Franklin left the club and Bell allegedly followed him. Once outside on the street, Bell is accused of fatally shooting Franklin before reportedly fleeing on foot.
Bell has been charged with First Degree Murder, Carrying a Concealed Weapon, and Felony Firearm.
