Man Killed in Hit-and-Run Collision in Dearborn

A woman was arrested this morning in a hit-and-run collision that killed a man on eastbound I-94 near Greenfield Road, the Dearborn Press and Guide reported.

The man was driving a four-door Chrysler sedan that was hit by the woman’s Chrysler Town & Country around 3 a.m., the report said. Dearborn police are working to identify the victim.

The woman and her male passenger were taken to a hospital with minor injuries. Police believe that drugs and/or alcohol may have been a factor in the incident.

“This is a tragic accident and may have been preventable,” Police Chief Ronald Haddad told the Press and Guide.
