MI Road Worker Dies After Fall In Construction Zone: Police
Investigators were waiting on toxicology results to determine if drugs or alcohol played a role in the incident.

JEROME TOWNSHIP, MI — A Michigan road worker died while on the job last week, according to officials.
The incident happened on Sept. 8 along eastbound US 10 and West River Road in Jerome Township, officials said.
Officials said 30-year-old Eduardo Aguilar, of Allen Park, was sitting in the back of a Chevy Silverado pickup truck, placing barrels in a construction zone when he fell and hit his head on the pavement.

He was taken to a nearby hospital where he died six days later, officials said.
The 24-year-old Bay City man, who was driving the truck, was not injured in the crash, officials said.
