Michigan’s Longest Zip Line Opens This Weekend
Looking for Michigan's newest summer adventure? How about zip lining from a six-story tower across a lake?
DEARBORN, MI — Michigan’s latest attraction is opening up this weekend, offering thrills for those who love heights and nature. Camp Dearborn, located in Milford, is introducing its newest amenity, a 1,400-foot zip line -- the longest in Michigan.
It will open July 14 with a ribbon cutting by Dearborn Mayor John O’Reilly, Jr.
The line will take riders from a six-story tower at Elm Circle over a lake and down onto the main beach. It will be open noon to 6:30 p.m. Thursday through Monday. Tickets, available at the zip line tower, are priced at $13 per ride or three rides for $30 for overnight campers and $15 per ride or three rides for $40 for patrons visiting for the day.
