New state-run call center helps Michiganders with long-term care & support plans (wxyz.com) — A Dearborn resident’s experience caring for her mother highlights how Michigan’s free MI Options Call Center can guide families through home modifications, in‑home care, and other long-term support. The statewide program connects older adults and people with disabilities to certified counselors who walk them through resources, from transportation and fraud alerts to safety upgrades, without income limits or fees.
   

5. Ann Arbor-area star defenders named to Divisions 3-4 all-state football team (mlive.com) — A standout season for Dearborn Divine Child football is getting statewide recognition, with star athlete Marcello Vitti named Player of the Year and coach Chris Laney earning Coach of the Year honors. Their awards come alongside other Ann Arbor-area defenders landing on the Associated Press Divisions 3-4 all-state team.
