Planet Fitness Larceny Leads To Arrest Of Dearborn Men

Two Dearborn men were recently arrested for allegedly breaking into a locker and stealing a Brighton man's wallet and credit cards.

DEARBORN, MI — Brighton Police recently arrested two Dearborn men for allegedly breaking into a Planet Fitness locker, stealing a wallet and credit cards. The suspects, both 19, have not yet been arraigned, but will face charges of larceny in a building, stealing or retaining a financial transaction device without consent, and illegal sale or use of a credit card — all felonies, according to a Livingston Daily report.

“Afterward, the men went to the CVS and Walgreen stores and used the stolen card to purchase nearly $2,000 in prepaid Visa cards, police said.”

“Police said they confirmed the men also were involved in similar incidents at Planet Fitness locations in Farmington Hills, Canton and Royal Oak in late August.”
