Police Seize 4,500+ Pills In Dearborn Drug Bust
The pills included oxycodone, hydrocodone, benzodiazepine, amphetamine, and a large amount of carasipradole.
DEARBORN, MI — A major drug bust in Dearborn netted thousands of prescription pills police say would have otherwise been distributed on the streets.
According to a report from WWJ, the drugs were found on Thursday when the Michigan State Police Metro Narcotics Enforcement Team conducted a search warrant in the east end of Dearborn, where more than 4,500 pills were recovered.
The pills included oxycodone, hydrocodone, benzodiazepine, amphetamine, and a large amount of carasipradole, the report said, adding the value was around $10,000. Also seized was $6,654 in cash and various other drug paraphernalia.

A 22-year-old Dearborn resident was taken into custody and remains lodged on a multitude of felony charges pending prosecutor review.
