Popular Bakery And Cafe Opens Third Metro Detroit Location
Shatila Bakery and Cafe, which is known for authentic Middle Eastern pastries, recently opened a new metro Detroit location.
DEARBORN HEIGHTS, MI — A popular Dearborn-based bakery and cafe opened a third Metro Detroit location earlier in August.
Shatila Bakery and Cafe, which is known for authentic Middle Eastern pastries, cookies and other baked goods, recently opened a new store at 26771 Ford Rd. in Dearborn Heights.
The new Dearborn Heights location will offer traditional Lebanese and Palestinian desserts and pastries, such as knafeh. The new location will also feature a cafe-style setting, with cafe-style drinks, such as lattes and cappuccinos, Turkish coffees, Lebanese breakfast items, croissants, cheese pies and more.

Shatila was founded by Riad Shatila more than 40 years ago. The bakery has grown from a small operation into a much larger business that also has a separate manufacturing and shipping center. The bakery ships its products nationwide and globally, according to its website.
Shatila also has locations on West Warren Road in Dearborn and an Oakland County location on Maple Road in West Bloomfield.
