Spots Open For Dearborn's Summer Camp
Now's your chance to register for one of the limited spots remaining for Dearborn's popular summer camp at The Center.

DEARBORN, MI—The holiday weekend is the perfect time for your little campers to get some activities in.
“Summer Camp at The Center,” the Dearborn Recreation & Parks Department’s popular day camp at the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center, has a few openings for the holiday-shortened week of July 1.
Tailored to youngsters ages 5-11, “Summer Camp at The Center” features both indoor and outdoor activities, such as active group games, arts and crafts, rock wall climbing and swimming in the leisure pool.

The July 1 session runs8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Wednesday. Additional child care is available from 7:30-8:30 a.m. and 4:30-5 p.m. at a cost of $3 each half hour.
All camp counselors are either certified elementary school teachers or university students majoring in education, and the camper-to-counselor ratio is 10:1, organizers said.

Registration, which takes place at the service desk of the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center, includes submission of a copy of the child’s birth certificate, a health form and a liability waiver, and payment in full by 3 p.m. Friday, June 28.
The cost is $87 for Passholders, $105 for residents and $120 for non-residents. Siblings receive a $20/week discount.
