Art Show, Camp Out and More This Weekend in the Dexter Area

1. Artistica's Fourth Friday Art Show

• When: Friday, July 26, 2013, 5:00 PM
• Where: 3203 Broad St. Dexter
• What: Come see Bella's Glass on Friday from 5-8pm. Bella is bringing in her newest works of colorful painted glassware: wine glasses, goblets, pitchers, decanters and more. She is offering a 10% discount on purchases over fifty dollars. Bella's work is vibrant and eye-catching. Come see for yourself and join us for camaraderie, conversation and art. As usual, light refreshments will be served. This is a great free activity to add to your Friday night in Dexter! The work of our other artists will also be available for your perusal. 

2. DEXTER FOOTBALL GOLF OUTING AND LADIES EVENT

• When: Saturday, July 27, 2013, 8:00 AM
• Where: REDDEMAN FARMS GOLF CLUB- CHELSEA
• What: GOLFERS WILL ENJOY 18 HOLES WITH CART, LUNCH, DINNER, HOLE CONTESTS AND GOODIE BAGS- $85 PER GOLFER. 3. Family Campout at Mill Pond Park

• When: Friday, July 26, 2013, 5:00 PM
• Where: Mill Pond Park
• What: Don’t forget your sleeping bags and tent when you come to the July 26 Movie in the Park! Bring your family and take advantage of the opportunity to camp out in Mill Pond Park. Tents can be set up starting at 5 pm and must be taken down by 10 am the next morning. $10 fee includes a continental breakfast (served from 6:30-9 am) and tent permit. 4. Sounds & Sights Festival

• When: Thursday, July 25, 2013, 6:30 PM
• Where: Chelsea
• What: Sounds & Sights Festival (formerly Chelsea Summerfest) is an annual summer festival in historic Chelsea, Michigan. The event started over three decades ago as merchant sidewalk sales and has since burgeoned into a highlight of summer that draws visitors from all over the state and beyond. The two-day, three-night event features live music and social tent, children’s entertainment and activities, a classic car show, open-air art market, and much more. This year’s event offers many new, exciting changes as well as keeping the tradition of old favorites that keep people coming year after year.
