Proposed Dexter Township Road Projects
The Washtenaw County Road Commission made a list of road projects it recommends to Dexter Township.

More road work could be coming to Dexter Township.
The Washtenaw County Road Commission prepared a report concerning the roads in Dexter Township for the Board of Trustees in mid-February.

Included in the report is a list of the Commission's proposed 2013 road projects, which are as follows.
- Toma Road, Stinchfield Woods Road north to county line: Work to include shaping the existing surface, the application of 4” (C.I.P.) of 22a gravel (approximately 3050 tons) with associated dust control and project restoration. Estimated project cost: $33,000.
- Stinchfield Woods Road, Dexter Townhall Road east to Toma Road: Work to include shaping the existing surface, the application of 4” (C.I.P.) of 22a gravel (approximately 1750 tons) with associated dust control and project restoration. Estimated project cost: $19,000.
- Stinchfield Woods Road, Dexter Townhall Road east to Toma Road: Work to include ditching, culvert cleanout, and project restoration. Estimated project cost: $11,000.
- Dancer Road, Township line to Island Lake Road: Work to include shaping the existing surface, the application of 4” (C.I.P.) of 23a limestone (approximately 900 tons) with associated dust control and project restoration. Estimated project cost: $12,700.
- Wylie Road. Township line to Dexter-Pinkney Road: Work to include ditching, culvert cleanout, and project restoration. Estimated project cost: $7,100.
- Township wide limestone: Work to include the application of a 23a limestone surface with associated dust control on various local roads within the township. Locations to be determined by the Township Supervisor and District Foreman. Estimated cost of $14.02 per ton includes all labor, equipment and material costs. The township can establish a “not to exceed” cost.
- Township wide gravel: Work to include the application of a 22a gravel surface with associated dust control on various local roads within the township. Locations to be determined by the Township Supervisor and District Foreman. Estimated cost of $10.65 per ton includes all labor, equipment and material costs. The township can establish a “not to exceed” cost.
- Township wide ditching: Work to include ditching on various local roads within the township. Locations to be determined by the Township Supervisor (or her designee) and District Foreman. The township can establish a “not to exceed” cost
