Hello neighbors,
I hope you are well. I'm reaching out again to continue to highlight the ongoing need for your support at the TC3 Pantry & Outreach Assistance, located inside Testimony Christian Center Church (TC3) in Farmington Hills, MI. We are grateful that God has placed us at the heart of our community, enabling us to assist those in need. The community has been reading these posts and has started to donate coats for our annual coat & toy giveaway in December, clothing for our clothing closet, nonperishable food, and toiletries for the pantry. We thank you so much for your generosity; you know who you are, and God bless you.
As I mentioned in previous posts, we are a small pantry/church that may not be as well-known as others in the area. Likely, you don’t generally think of us when looking to donate to a pantry in the area, but we ask that you keep us (TC3 Pantry) in mind. Although we may not be as well-known as others, our pantry serves families, individuals, and seniors every week, so there is a constant need for items to continue our work. I have listed examples of how to keep the pantry active in helping our community.
The need for nonperishable food (e.g. cereal, peanut butter, oatmeal, tuna, canned chicken breast, pasta, pasta sauce, green beans, corn, shelf stable whole milk, mac & cheese, rice, beans canned and dry, soups, stews, chili, jiffy muffin mix, spinach, mixed vegetables, jelly or jam, etc. within the best-by and sell-by dates), clothing, coats, boots, shoes, hats, gloves, etc. for our clothing closet (clean and gently used, all sizes), hygiene products (e.g. body wash, toothpaste, razors, shaving cream, deodorant, mouthwash, bar soap, sanitary napkins, diapers baby and adult sizes, etc.), new toys (annual toy giveaway in December as gifts), and household items (e.g. toilet paper, laundry detergent, paper towel, bleach, trash bags, dish soap, etc.).
Many in our community who face food insecurity and income disparities are actively working, and still struggle to meet basic needs, especially with rising costs affecting their income. Our pantry is rooted in our mission to assist those in need. As stated in Luke 3:11: “He answereth and said unto them, 'He that hath has two coats, let him impart to him that hath none; and he that has meat, let him do likewise.’
When we share what we can with those who have less, we have a significant impact on our community. Donations are needed now more than ever and appreciated by all organizations that are blessed to receive them. We would also like to thank everyone in advance for your generosity. If you choose not to support us, please consider supporting another small local pantry. It is greatly needed.
Thank you so much for helping us in our mission. Contact us regarding donations.
