Local arena’s Ice Show will feature Team USA

Hartland Ice House will venue the The Ice House Skating Academy’s 8^th annual ice show- “A Night at the Movies On Ice’’ with some special guests this year.  The show will feature three divisions of Team USA, as selected by US Figure Skating to represent the United States at the 2013 Nation’s Cup (internationally known as the III Nation’s Cup Ballet On Ice Competition) in Logroño, Spain, April 26-28, 2013. 

Team USA’s  Junior, Senior and Adult teams from the Harmony Theatre Company of Michigan will perform their Free Skate Programs during the show, which features programs choreographed to classic movies and Broadway shows by the Ice House SA club figure skaters as well as students from the Kensington Valley Ice House and Hartland Ice House’s Learn To Skate program. In addition, the Novice team- who were the 2012 Theatre On Ice Preliminary National Champions, will also be skating in the show.

Showtimes are Friday, February 22^nd at 7pm and Saturday, February 23^rd, at 1pm and 7pm.  Tickets can be purchased at the door; $12 for adults and $8 for children under 12 and seniors 60+.   Advance tickets may be purchased by emailing icehouseskatingacademy@gmail.com.  The Hartland Ice House is located at 2755 Arena Drive, Hartland, MI 48353.
