Obituary: Russ Ashinger of Hartland

Russ Ashinger of Hartland lost his battle with cancer on January, 16, 2013.

Ashinger leaves behind his wife, Tami, and two daughters.

Last March, Ashinger, was diagnosed with three types of cancer in his liver, lungs and perineum. After undergoing aggressive treatments of chemotherapy, the family was told in November that Ashinger had four to six months to live.

A personal service for close family and friends will be held in lieu of a funeral.
