Hartland Woman Reports Jewelry Stolen

On April 11, a Hartland woman reported a burglary at her home on the 2000 block of Sun Terrace Dr., according to a report from the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department.

Police say the woman returned home from work at 6 p.m. and noticed the jewelry box in her bedroom missing.

The woman told police that nothing else in her home appeared to be disturbed. The homeowner also told police she thought the suspect may have entered her home using a spare key, which is kept under the doormat, because the key was found inside the house. 

A jewelry box containing nine pieces of jewelry was reported stolen.
