3 Dead In MI Plane Crash: Police
Investigators do not know what caused the plane crash or the plane's intended destination.
BATH TOWNSHIP, MI — Three people were killed in a small plane crash in the Lansing area Thursday afternoon, according to police.
The crash happened at 5 p.m. Thursday near the intersection of Clark and Peacock roads in Bath Township, according to police.
Police said there were three people aboard the plane and they were all killed in the crash. Investigators recovered their bodies at the crash site, according to police.

Investigators do not know what caused the plane crash or the plane's intended destination. It was also not immediately clear where the plane departed from.
The Federal Aviation Administration was investigating the crash.
